A Strong Foundation in Insurance Law
After earning his law degree from Detroit College of Law in 1990, he began as an associate at Plunkett Cooney PC, where he honed his skills in insurance law. He later advanced to leadership roles at Meadowbrook Insurance Group, serving as Assistant General Counsel and eventually Vice President, providing legal counsel to insurance companies and agencies.

As a name partner at Wilson Young Costello PLC, Douglas Young successfully represented policyholders and insurance agents in coverage disputes, errors and omissions claims, and complex insurance litigation. He established Young Insurance Law to provide strategic advocacy for policyholders, risk managers, and corporations throughout Detroit Metro and Michigan, ensuring they receive the representation they deserve in insurance-related legal matters.
